Recently found my iPod Nano 1st generation (4gb model). Software does not register clicks. The reset thing works, so I'm moderately confident it's not a hardware problem. I have disassembled the iPod (that was hell 😓) and reconnected all cables. I have also tried installing RockBox, to no avail.

Nov 18, 2019. #6. If copy high-resolution photos was check when it was synced, there should be a photos folder on the iPod. If it was formatted for Windows you will want to use Windows to do it. If you did not copy high-resolution photos, I am sadly not sure how to get them off.

What exactly is the difference between the 5th and 5.5th generation iPod? Sometimes your read that the 5.5th sounds considerably better than the 5th generation. It would be interesting to know what audio components are in the 4th generation and the iPod photo (1st (20/40GB) and 2nd gen (30/60GB)) too.

That's probably the biggest difference for me. Otherwise, I actually prefer the feel of the older one, even if it does seem slightly bulkier.
