  2. Knocking/popping sound from rear end of Polaris Ranger 1000

    forum.gon.com/threads/knocking-popping-sound-from-rear-end-of-polaris-ranger...

Senior Member. I have a nearly new Polaris Ranger 1000 (about 50 hours on it). It recently started making a knocking/popping sound when in motion. It sounds like the noise is coming from the right rear area. When I speed up, the noise repeats faster.

  3. Which is better? Kubota RTV or Polaris Ranger? - GON Forum

    forum.gon.com/threads/which-is-better-kubota-rtv-or-polaris-ranger.202295

Staff member. Depends on what you are going to use them for and where. The kubota is a tank. The engine and transmission in that sucker is hard core, but it is very heavy. The Polaris is lighter and faster. November 2016, a date when the snowflakes freaked and started melting!. The idiots lost!

  4. Polaris Ranger 570 Mid vs Kawasaki Mule MX Pro - GON Forum

    forum.gon.com/threads/polaris-ranger-570-mid-vs-kawasaki-mule-mx-pro.952219

Senior Member. I recently purchased the Ranger 500, which is the same size as the 570 midsize. I had narrowed it down to the Mule SX and the 500. I bought the 500 based on the ride, it is much softer/smoother than the Mule, very enjoyable to drive thru the woods and has top end speed in the mid 40s which the Mule did not have.

  5. Need Polaris service/repair suggestions, NorthEast GA area

    forum.gon.com/threads/need-polaris-service-repair-suggestions-northeast-ga...

2019 Polaris Ranger 500 started like normal on me today, pulled my utility trailer up to my truck with it, turned it off, hooked up trailer, went back to Ranger to load on trailer and it won't start. Looked at battery, it was 2019, so ran and bought new battery, installed it, and nothing.

    forum.gon.com/threads/is-this-common-my-ranger-will-not-run-if-i-disconnect...

Polaris batteries are garbage, mine made it about 18 months and had a buddy who's didn't even make it a year. I replaced mine with a odyssey extreme pc925 and it cranks so much faster and no issues running a winch and led lights. It was a little pricey but beats a dead battery once a year.

  7. pros and cons between polaris and honda - GON Forum

    forum.gon.com/threads/pros-and-cons-between-polaris-and-honda.308577

polaris are powerful, but VERY heavy compared to hondas of the same size.Usually the only people who like or recommend a polaris are the ones who own one,and usually it's a garage queen. The hondas won't win a drag race, but they'll tow that popo home everytime it breaks down. go for a honda it'll be ready every hunting season, the foremans are powerful enough to work a food plot, fast enough to ...

  8. Seed spreader for Polaris Ranger - GON Forum

    forum.gon.com/threads/seed-spreader-for-polaris-ranger.947397

I'll add that the electric seeders, will broadcast seed, about 3+ feet off the ground, which is great for over seeding a, for example, perennial clover plot. Just a little higher off the ground than the pull behinds. Invest in your soil, first. Soil needs to be covered, fed and nurtured.

  9. Polaris Ranger 570 Mid vs Kawasaki Mule MX Pro - GON Forum

    forum.gon.com/threads/polaris-ranger-570-mid-vs-kawasaki-mule-mx-pro.952219/page-2

Polaris is nowhere in the same class with Kawasaki for reliability and toughness. We have a fleet of side-by sides at work that get used and abused all day every day. We have tried all kinds over the last 25 years. We have stuck with Mules. Polaris is toward the bottom of the heap, IMO. They're built for speed and smooth ride, not ruggedness or ...

  10. To buy or not to buy??? 800 Sportsman - GON Forum

    forum.gon.com/threads/to-buy-or-not-to-buy-800-sportsman.494202

Polaris was the first to do Automatic tranny, true AWD, and Independent Rear Suspension (I'm not including the ol' Suzuki quadrunner 250 from 1988 or whenever it was cause 2" of rear suspension travel don't count) and now EVERY maker is doing.

  11. Anyone do any plowing with a Polaris Ranger or similar?

    forum.gon.com/threads/anyone-do-any-plowing-with-a-polaris-ranger-or-similar...

Member. I've used a Ground Hog Max for many years with Polaris 850 4x4, it did ok but got a Lowes Axis 700 and it did so much better with the more weight (400-500lbs) than the 4x4. all I've ever done is small plots cause of the land usage. this was the 1st time trying soybeans.
