I find doxylamine succinate to be way way more sedating. In fact almost too sedating to combine with an opiate! Im suprised everyone likes diphenhydramine so much more. I also get a more extended "hangover" with the doxylamine. I feel like 12.5 doxylamine succinate = 25 diphenhydramine HCl. Just my 2 cents.

I find hydroxyzine the worst of the 3 for sleep. Doxylamine is the best by a good margin. It really works for me for insomnia, almost always, whereas diphenhydramine has mixed success and hydroxyzine has little success. makes sense since hydroxyzine is the least sedating of the 3, and doxylamine is the most sedating of the 3.
I find doxylamine way better. It's smoother, no hangover, it seems to help much more for sleep. Diphenhydramine fucks with my allergies, usually leads into a sinus infection or upper respiratory if it gets really bad, plus it doesn't help so much with sleep. Hydroxyzine is nice, but I still think I'd take doxylamine ahead of it.
Rate 1-3 which is the best promethazine, doxylamine, or diphenhydramine? from my experience: 1. Promethazine (best) very sedating. good for allergies. no hangover. 2 Doxylamine but little experience said to be given more for sleeping than phenergan which is used more as an AH so idk 3. DPH. Doxylamine and diphenhydramine are both similar antihistamines, you can safely mix them, however, esp. in those dosages. I would actually shoot for 12.5mg of diphenhydramine if you have that option, adding 25mg to that mix would most likely just make you nod out and go to sleep.
Unisom sleep tabs apparently contain doxylamine only. Prepare to get unusually drowsy, and do not experiment with high doses. I doubt that all 'recreational' dosages pose toxicity risks mentioned but it is not exactly safe to just do whatever the hell you want with it. My advice: get yourself...
Frumious Bandersnatch. 1. Clonidine seems to reduce feelings of hypertension but does not put you to sleep after stims. 2. Seroquel 25-50 mg will give you 8 hours sleep if you are already at the comedown phase but is less helpful if you are still peaking.
