Julia Seton (also Kapp and Sears; 1862–1950) was an American physician, lecturer and author. [1] [2] [3] After graduating from medical school and working as a physician, Seton modernized the concept of "the Science of Names and Numbers" to what is referred to today as numerology, and it is through her work that numerology became known by the general public.
