Metacritic/opencritic don't cover most of the smaller releases or indy games I play, so they're effectively useless to me. I read reviews by individual sites I know to be consistently well-written, like RPS or Eurogamer. Steam reviews are informative if you read the text rather than simply going by the aggregate.
My favourite would be Steam Reviews, but it's not an aggregator, so, I still prefer Metacritic to Opencritic for one simple reason: distinction between platforms. Metacritic was one of the largest sites for review for a long time and some still use them. A Metacritic score also existed before Steam Reviews did. It is always better to have multiple sources as well. Not everyone likes the review system on Steam either and may want a different system to check on a game's score.
