Hi, i just tried to use the 'Intel Driver update utility' on my Acer aspire 5738 laptop. It finds a driver to update ok but then fails when it proceeds to install it, with an 'unknown error'. For example it scans and it says I have Intel Graphics Driver version 10.18.10.4358 and says the Latest version is 15.33.42.4358, but when I download and install, then do a scan again it will STILL say the same thing.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install and update to the latest version. Dell Command | Update utility can only update the firmware once you have manually installed the first revision of the firmware from the Dell Support Site: Ensure that a Thunderbolt device is plugged into computer.
