Best Buy does NOT sell unlocked iPhones. ONLY Apple can sell you an unlocked phone. You will need to work this out with Best Buy as neither Apple nor anyone here can help you. This is a classic example of why it is always best to buy an iPhone in the country you live and will use it. iPhone warranty is not international either.
So since I need to buy the phone upfront, I need to have the full amount, hence the need to finance without interest. Then I go to buy the iPhone 14 and find out, nope you can’t buy an unlocked version for some reason on 0% monthly installments. Very disappointed. My phone service costs like 1/3 of what the big 3 companies charge a month.

However, because of the policy they WILL lock to whatever SIM is first inserted in the device. So, if you put anything in the phone other than a Verizon SIM it will lock.
