Amazon Music HD is an on-demand lossless and Hi-Res streaming service. On the face of it, this is not an especially remarkable thing. We’ve tested three lossless services prior to this and two of those also offer high resolution material too (although, for accuracy’s sake, TIDAL didn’t when we reviewed it). What Amazon is offering (for ...
For mobile devices, download and launch the Amazon Music app on your device, then sign in using information for your primary Amazon account. For Alexa-enabled devices, just ask, "Alexa, play music" or ask for your favorite song, artist or album. Age. 59. Location. Surrey, UK. Feb 29, 2020. #4. There is no Amazon music app (yet) that is supported on the TV. But that would still give me the problem of getting the stream from TV to the AVR losslessly. I am wondering if I can set up the TV to run DD+ out over ARC, but run stereo out over optical in PCM.
1. Amazon Music HD app on iPhone. - Chromecast Audio: The CCA refuses to appear in the devices list hence casting from the Amazon app is not an option. Spotify casts fine to my CCA at 44.1kHz. - AirPlay on Apple TV: Amazon states AirPlay is constrained to a 16-bit signal max, so you can forget about Ultra HD.
I don’t believe Atmos music has been released yet. I anticipate it will be when Amazon release their Amazon Echo Studio-Atmos enabled speaker on 7/11. LG G2 55” Oled, Oppo 103 Blu Ray, MK Xenon 26 5.1.2, MK V8 sub, Kef R50 Atmos speakers, Denon X2700H, Sky Stream x 4 pucks. Shure 535’s IEM.
Age. 69. Location. Watkinsville, GA, U.S. Jan 6, 2022. #1. From a review: "Amazon Music HD delivers lossless FLAC audio at 24-bit/192kHz." I have a Amazon Music HD trial and the highest resolution I get is 96 kHz. Only about 10% of the Ultra HD songs I clicked on today are above 44 kHz.
Apr 2, 2023. #1. I was streaming the Daisy Jones & The Six soundtrack on my tablet via the Amazon Music app and it came up as Dolby Atmos, the tablet is a Samsung and supports Dolby Atmos (stop sniggering at the back). However, when I try to stream in Atmos either via HEOS on my Marantz SR7012 or on my Firestick 4K which is plugged into the AVR ...
Dec 16, 2017. #1. I've had Amazon prime music for just over a year now, and was really mind blown how there was no gapless playback on music albums. Even more stunned to find out much later Spotify and Apple music do Gapless Playback. A classic fave album of mine, Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. A nasty split second stutter/glitch between ...
1) Overall how does the MXN10 compare to the latest Bluesound Node and the CXN v2 specifically. The review implies that the MXN10 sounds better than the Node but that the user experience isn't as good. On sound quality alone, the review suggests the MXN10 wins. There is also the Node X now as well.
I recently bought one of these and signed up to Qobuz for hires music, connected its using coax so as to bypass the internal DAC which isn’t very good: Amazon product ASIN B0BJDY6D1W I’m very impressed, and having previously used a bluesound node I think the app interface and sound quality is on par with it and at £150 a fraction of the cost.
