The Official New Zealand Music Chart ( Māori: Te Papa Tātai Waiata Matua o Aotearoa) is the weekly New Zealand top 40 singles and albums charts, issued weekly by Recorded Music NZ (formerly Recording Industry Association of New Zealand). The Music Chart also includes the top-20 New Zealand artist singles and albums and top 10 compilation albums.
Justin Bieber has achieved five number-one singles this decade, the most of any artist thus far. From the 2020s, L.A.B. 's "In the Air" was the top song of 2020; The Glass Animals track "Heat Waves" was the top song of 2021 (although only peaking at number two); and Elton John and Dua Lipa 's "Cold Heart (Pnau remix)" was the top song of 2022.
