  2. Flat top grill vs adding griddle to existing gas grill

    www.bbq-brethren.com/threads/flat-top-grill-vs-adding-griddle-to-existing-gas...

Stir fry, pancakes, bacon, eggs, hash browns, fajitas, Philly cheese steaks, fish, quesadillas etc are all great on the flat top. Problem with adding a griddle plate on top of your gasser is dealing with all the grease from the burgers. A dedicated flat top just handles that aspect so much better. Great problem to have.

David. Feb 1, 2021. #2. I have a Weber gas grill next to my 36” Blackstone and use both regularly. I wouldn’t think I could get rid of the gasser. I don’t cook steaks on the BS other than searing. But I do use it a lot. Burgers (Smash burgers) have become my favorite on the BS. The hinged lid is a big plus.

The 22 model is by far superior to the 36. #1 the 36 has 4 burners which are spaced farther apart per SQ inch. #2 the 22 has 3 burners which are spaced closer per SQ inch giving you more even heat, and also more searing ability. Now, #3 the 22 has a lid, and also a removable portable stand.

April 08, 2014, 11:17:16 PM. JT, early in the Blackstone thread, there were two modes of thought expressed relating to flaming knobs. 1. You get what you pay for, it's still a great oven and will still get plenty hot when the knob is at a non flame setting, be happy with what you've got and use it. 2.

I have the Camp Chef 600 and I have been extremely happy with it. Two of the features I liked over the Blackstone were the individual igniters and the fact that it is a gas grill. as well as a griddle. I have pulled the top off and used the grill part many times and it is a nice added feature.

Re: Blackstone ignitor question -- clicky but no sparky! #13. May 13, 2015, 07:26:45 PM. Craig's right, old igniters on water heaters, furnaces etc build up rust and carbon deposits. Take some fine sandpaper, steel wool, green pad and buff the igniter wire off, like you would clean a spark plug. A fix 90% of the time.

Only place I’ve ever seen mice on my patio was around my previous Blackstone 2 Burner. Never on the Griddle never any evidence on Griddle but under it. Specially when covered. Several times in the years I owned BS-2 a mouse would flee when removing the cover. I sold it for the Tabletop 17” but looking back I wonder if the cover attracted ...

Jan 4, 2016. #1. Just a quick question for all you Blackstone owners. I recently received the black Blackstone griddle for Christmas and I was wondering if non-stick cooking spray such as PAM or any other brand can be used on the griddle or would it gunk it up like those sprays do to most non-stick pans. Only reason I am asking is that I try to ...
