  4. Gasoline shut off valve for generator? - iRV2 Forums

The Gen will not pickup any fuel below 1/4-1/3 tank. Never saw a rig with a shutoff valve. As Clifftall explained, the pickup line for the generator is 1/4 to 1/3 off the bottom of the fuel tank, so you may need to add gas to it. It could also be a bad fuel pump or cracked or broken fuel line leading to the Genny.

Any concerns over driving a Tow Dolly unloaded for a couple of hundred miles? There is a used Tow Dolly for sale in my state. I was going to drive over to see it in my SUV (which has a 2" receiver hitch). If I buy it, I would have to tow it home empty (its about 230 miles). The Tow Dolly I would be looking at is a 2004 Demco Kar Karry SS.

And that starting it and letting it idle until it warms up will actually hurt the engine. Both Caterpillar and Cummins recommend that their engines are better off if left alone when in storage. If you insist starting it up, it is important that it come to full operating temperature (>180 degrees) before turning it off.

  8. Best route to Branson - iRV2 Forums

I would suggest you go to Kennett and northwest to Piggott and over to Corning, AR. Go north from Corning and turn left on Hwy 160--which takes you through West Plains, MO and into Branson. An option would be west to Kennett to Paragould where you'd turn west to pickup Hwy 63 at Walnut Ridge. Go west of Harrison, AR where you go north into Branson.

Just bought a Allegro RED 33AA - just over 35 feet long - it has a washer and dryer, a king size bed and a second hide-a-bed in the couch. Our Bounder 33C has a splendid combo unit. The back rear bedroom closet comes pre plumbed for it. We went with the vented dryer, so they did have to cut a hole for the vent.

  10. Lifting a heavy generator - iRV2 Forums

    www.irv2.com/forums/f54/lifting-a-heavy-generator-542618.html

Lifting a heavy generator. We just bought a Honda Eu3000is and are headed out to Montana with our 24 ft pull behind camper. I knew it was heavy but didn't think about the logistics of getting in and out of the truck. I found the portable lifting tool, which is about $100 and thought about ramps. But both of those will take up precious cargo space.

Posts: 209. I just priced a full tow hookup for my 14 Honda CRV with a local RV accessory shop and it priced out $2,000 more than I could buy all the components online. The labor rate wasn’t that bad, but the markup on all the parts was at least 20% more than online prices.
