Hi everyone, I would like to access my btinternet.com emails on the new version of Microsoft Outlook. However it tells me I need a BT password (which is not the one I use to access my BT emails at BT's own site), and also it tells me I may need an 'app password'. I don't know what that is. When using webmail (on a browser) if the email account is not being used and the email page is closed it would normally log you out automatically. Thunderbird stores your login details and periodically logs in, checks for new mail and logs out. Much more secure than being permanently logged in.
Go to solution. Hiya, I'm having issues logging back into my BT email using Outlook on my Samsung Android mobile phone. All was working fine until BT told me i had an issue that needing fixing. As a result I changed my password. This now works on Webmail, my company IPad and on my PC, however my phone is having a proper "computer says no" moment.
Email not syncing on Android. Hi, BT email has not been syncing on my android phone for the last couple of days. I've checked settings and looks fine and restarted phone with no change. I deleted the account and then set it up again - it worked immediately but then stopped again.
