Avast shouldn't hide any folders. But incase you want to make all folders viewable here's what you need to do: 1) Go to Control Panel. 2) Click Folder Options. 3) Click view. 4) And where you see "Hidden files and folders" press, "Show hidden folders and files". And you should be done. Logged.

I downloaded avast! yesterday. Registered for the yearly free edition, ran a full scan, had no problems. Had to restart my computer this morning due to various programs updating.
