I started to immediately say no, but asked who the issuer was instead. The cashier knew the answer right off and said Barclay's Bank. I didn't know Barclay's issued the Old Navy card. I went ahead with it since I figured I'd get the Mastercard version. Instant approval and $5400 SL. Pulled TU with a FICO 8 score of 698. APPROVED! Message 1 of 15.
Re: Old Navy Store Card Approval! I started with a $200 limit on my Old Navy card. I got the limit raised to $2,000 via chat about three months later. When my TU score went over 700, I got the limit raised to $10,000. It now sits at $5,000 (via a request for a CLD since I couldn't buy $10,000 worth of clothes for myself in a lifetime).

That being said, my word of caution is that Sync backed bank cards carry high-interest rates so if you use it as a general spend card, be sure to pay in full each and every month. I apped for the GAP card last week and was approved for $5K. Reason I went for the GAP card was I can use it at all GAP stores to include Old Navy, Banana Republic, Atheta, however I didnt see where I could use an Old Navy card at the GAP. I may have just not looked hard enough. Scores in my signature. Old Navy can be used at GAP.
