11-20-2014 11:01 PM. You cannot "fix" the A-side definition as long as there's a flat-pattern present. If you delete the flat-pattern, you can delete or redefine the A-side. in reply to: avaya2012. 05-24-2018 01:16 PM. Hi! When the A-Side Definition is sick, you can use Design Doctor to "edit" A-Side. Simply click through the "Next" button and select a new face, A-Side should be healthy again. If it does not work like this, please share an example here. Many thanks!

This is false. So far, Inventor part can only have one geometric definition at a time, regardless of where it exists. Aside for the defects, Inventor did not provide tools helping user manage adaptive relationship. On 2017, Inventor provide Relationship command at part level showing the feature dependency.

01-29-2015 12:33 AM. indeed it is the correct thickness. extruded in this image as i tried face and it did the same thing. so i was experimenting. when i pre select face it still does it. i have now installed updates and packs and will see very soon whether it works or not!
