Hi all, I am trying to update my Inventor Professional 2020 to 2021, and can't seem to find a way on how to update it.
It is found in the Start list of applications. If you have more than one version of Inventor installed, make sure your select the correct one. Also before running it, go to your Task Manager and make sure Inventor is not running is any way shape or form. After this, I am out of possible user tests and processes.
If you want to try Inventor 2020, you will need to download Inventor 2020 trial. The one on the Beta is actually a special branch build based on 2020 and later. It is not the same as production 2020. As a result, the file saved there cannot be referenced in 2019.4. Attached is a simple two-part assembly saved in 2020. Many thanks!
Which Inventor version are you trying to install? The cause of the issue is likely to be your browsers pop up blocker, which should be disabled for these web pages. For Chrome this means: Click on the padlock on the search bar -> Site Settings -> Pop-Ups and redirects -> Allow
I have downloaded Inventor 2020 using the student link. It installs and starts up but says that my trial has finished and I need to enter my serial. I have not had Inventor installed before. I have installed autocad using the student link and that works fine. It doesn't appear to be the same as the autocad listed the serial at the download point.
After uninstalling prior failed installed components, you may want to try using the download method instead. Make sure your browser allows multiple files to be downloaded.
