I bought the Hisense 17.2-cu ft Counter-depth Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator 2 years and 3 months ago. At first I was in love with it. Last week it started making a sound and slowly the freezer and eventually the fridge stopped cooling. It took me 2 hours on the phone to find a technician willing to look at a Hisense fridge, this was already strange.

Not that model, but no. I took a chance on a Hisense and i think some of the bits that need heating to keep the freezer frost-free were either dead on arrival or died under a year. Freezer gets a layer of ice at the bottom and the fridge leaks often. Super annoying, never again.

Check Hisense site if they have reviews also, but remember they have a vested interest in only showing good ones. So I decided I would not be hooking it up before I even ordered it.

It appears "Impecca" is the brand-name applied by Lucerne Trading Co, an American importer, to a line of generic, Chinese-made electronics and consumer goods. The only good reviews I found were for the AA, AAA, and 9V batteries sold under the brand. Good thing you passed on the fridge!
Read through my submitted comments for our LG horror show (49 days to get service on a warrantied refrigerator while we lived out of coolers; lost food, no-notice cancelled service appointments and labyrinthine phone call center operators, along with hours on hold.)
