The Columbus City Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It was designed by architect Truman Dudley Allen. History. In addition to the offices of the city government, when the building opened in 1892, it also housed the police department, the fire department, the jail and the city library.
Added to NRHP. July 8, 2009. The Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and Parsonage is a historic church complex in Columbus, Wisconsin. The complex includes the 1878 church building at 254 W. Mill Street and the adjacent 1885 parsonage at 236 W. Mill Street. The buildings were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.
