Updated Lightworks 2023.2 Release Installers Now Available To Download. We have updated the installers for 2023.2 with revision 143744. This new build now has helpful links on the hints popups that link to the new online Knowledge Base and even includes the ability to change the colour on Bins/Groups as well as adding in Notes metadata!

575. Dec 30, 2023. #2. Yes it does, but under a different name. Lightworks has changed the DVE effects to Transform effects in version 2023.1 and up. The 2D DVE is now called simply Transform, and the 3D DVE is now Transform 3D. Apart from the name change they are identical in behaviour to the earlier versions. S.
Apr 23, 2017. #7. Welcome to the forum. You would need to take up using Boris FX on Linux with Boris. They are a separate company and not a part of Editshare. UPDATE V2022. Video stabilization is available on the NewBlue Essentials bundle with the Lightworks Pro license. Linux isn't supported. Last edited: Apr 25, 2022.
In Lightworks there's often more than one way of doing things. The V14 quick start video tutorial gives methods for shortening/trimming a segment inside the timeline. You can do this either by mark and parking the unwanted section, allowing you the option of deleting "x" or removing "z" if you want the gap.
I've been using the free version for about eight months now and am considering buying the perpetual pro version. I was wondering what the major (or all) the differences are between the two. I know that the output quality is the main thing and was wondering if there were anymore important features I should be aware of before buying.
