    answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/getting-nhs-mail-to-work-in...

So I am a Mac user and just started an NHS contract in the UK. I have an nhs.net email address and I cannot get it to work with the Outlook version 2016 which I bought in January 2016. It turns out that the NHS is a bit behind in updating its IT to allow nhs.net addresses to be used on the latest version. It does however work on Entourage 2008.

Another option is to use a different email client that is compatible with NHSmail, such as Mozilla Thunderbird. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know and I'll do my best to assist you.

  10. The new NHS.net exchange based system works perfectly with the new Entourage Beta, all settings are "auto discovered" when you enter your e-mail address, the only thing that isn't is the LDAP settings for the global address book, you just need to enter ldap.nhs.net as the server name and change the default port to 636.

  11. NHS mail (nhs.net) not working. Since the latest El Cap upgrade, my NHS.net account has stopped working from my mac. I have contacted NHSmail and they tell me that they don't support macs. Previously, I've uninstalled the exchange account and reinstalled it but it doesn't work this time as it is asking for an internal and external URL - any ideas?
