I checked out Dish's website today and noticed their Dishperks information. All Dish customers do not receive the Dishperks. If they offer free previews of channels we already receive due to our particular package, then my blood "perks" but, not my Dish.

Yes, the so-called "Annual" Kids' Binge-A-Palooza. Dish did that for a few years, and then skipped it in 2020. Of course, a lot of those channels had already been in free preview during the Spring, at the height of the pandemic that year. So, maybe Dish wasn't allowed to turn around and do another free preview again that Summer.

My guess is that Dish somehow forgot to turn off the free previews of TV Land and Discovery en Espanol for active satellite receivers. This may be due to the different method that was used to authorize those previews in the first place. As I reported last month, those channels never did show up on deactivated receivers.
So, I did a little more digging. I had been wondering why the Dish Anywhere app was still letting me Sling channel 106, TV Land (SD) from my Hopper 3, even though that free preview has ended. (The HD streaming-only TV Land feed disappeared completely from Dish Anywhere for me today, along with the other streaming free previews from last month.)
