For weeks the launcher crapped out every time I quit a game. And the latest disaster that appeared with the recent update is the software telling me "This product cannot be activated right now" when I am trying to start 1800. Alternatively, you can instal Ubisoft Connect in a different drive, like I prefer to do and edit the folder name to not have any spaces. During installation, as installation location select z:\mnt\nameofdrive\. It will create a folder called Ubisoft Games Launcher.
