I have confirmed with the developers that the Spectrum TV App for ROKU has been updated to version 11.3 on 12/11/23. This update includes a fix to resolve the random black / blank screen issue. Updates are usually automatic, to check your current app version, go to the Roku home screen, highlight the Spectrum app and press the asterisk (*) button.
Best Answer. Hello and welcome to the Spectrum Community! The channels that are available away from home can vary from area to area. If you were to use your Spectrum TV app while on a cell network or on a wifi connection that is not your home connection and go to the guide the channels that are not available away from home will be grayed out.
If not, I may just follow through on my plan to cancel spectrum TV and go with YouTube TV which (1) plays nice with a VPN and (2) doesn't block my access to local channels when I'm not on my home network.
