Epson Print Layout program and Alpha channels. I recently downloaded the Epson Print Layout program and found that I could not load .tiff or .psd files into the program. I can load .jpegs, but I prefer not using this type. I contacted Epson and I was told " We tested it with one of our senior technicians and confirmed that the file was imported ...
The ET-8550 is supposed to be able to print on paper up to 13" wide but I can't figure out why mine won't. I've tried changing custom paper sizes (12x12 is what I want) in both "Epson Print Layout" and through Photoshop and then trying to change the custom paper size in the printer dialogue box that comes from the printer driver. I just updated to version 22.0.0 of Photoshop (on Windows 10), and now my Canon Printer Studio Pro and Epson Print Layout plug-ins are no longer available from the File / Automate menu. What gives? I print all photos from the Epson Print Layout utility which is a stand alone application. Select the print size from the pull down.

First thing to try is to check which paper source is selected: In the Print dialog box in Photoshop, click ...
The Epson print layout is fine if you only want to print one image at a time. One image, one print. Period. It can't tile files. You can't layout more than one image per page either. It's really quite rigid once you're used to printing with a RIP. For me, a RIP is an an absolute necessity when printing for other people. I can't imaging not ...
