Hero. @Mack232323 Moving the Electronic Arts folder shouldn't be a problem. The game will create a new one, with a new Sims 4 folder inside, if it's able to launch at all. Try running the takeown command on your Documents folder. First, run a Windows search for "Command Prompt," open it, and enter this command:
make sure the game isn’t installed, go to downloads on the ea app in the settings and you can change where the download will go and you can make a new folder. when you go to install it, it will also ask for the download location and make sure it’s on that new folder. Reply. 2. + XP. Prev.
For the EA App itself, try setting an exception for EADesktop.exe in your antivirus, if you have one, and add TS4_x64.exe while you're at it. If you only use Windows Defender, check whether Controlled Folder Access is enabled, and set those same exceptions if it is. (Don't enable it if it's not already running.)

So I was trying to launch my game from the EA app as normal, but then I got a message saying that one of the game's files was corrupted, and that it needs to repair itself. So I tried to let it do that, but it wasn't working. It would seem like it was repairing for a little bit, but then it would go crazy saying it was 90% done then 35% and so on.
For the Windows/macOS clock, please make sure that it has synced with the actual date/time. Sims 4 keeps crashing after i played for 1 minute. The game freezes for 1-2 seconds and then crashes. I have repaired the game, done app recovery -> clear cache, reinstalled sims but it still doesn't work. It started yesterday suddenly after playing for a few hours (with one crash), and now i can't play at all because it crashes almost right away.
