Have a look on www.office.com in the Images section. Enter search term and then on the left restrict results to "illustrations". Then on the bottom right go forward to the last pages, where you will find the oldest cliparts. The stick figures are called screen beans. They are all still there.

I am having the same issue. I have Office 2010. The last time I used clip art (from the office site) was around Christmas, and it worked just fine. When I click on the Office link to clip art, I get a message telling me 2003 is not longer supported. I have Office 2010!
