Hello friends, I was using a mobile phone number before that I don’t have access to it any more and I used the same mobile number for linking to my Apple ID thus became my primary number for Apple Two form authentication code.

follow up to last post I signed out of icloud, restarted phone and now trying to sign back in to icloud. It's been on the signing in screen for 1/2 hr. Very frustrated!
I have dropped my iPhone into a puddle. It now won't turn on and I'm worried I will have lost my photos. I have my iCloud account password so wanted to login and see if the phone was regularly backing up. When logging in it sends a 'verify your identity' code to my phone number, which obviously I can't access! How do I get round this please?

Started about 3 weeks ago & occurs at least every 2 minutes. Shows old Apple ID that cannot be erased so I can't sign in on this pop up screen. I can, however, sign in to ICloud with correct ID when this is happening. Occurs relentlessly. It has popped up several times while I am typing this question.

Recovering iCloud account without my trusted phone number AND device I haven't used my first iCloud for like 5 years now but I still know the password. When I tried logging in, it said I need my old phone number which I am not using. So I typed my old phone but I couldn't get the code and I don't use my old iPhone where I created my iCloud acc.
