Jul 31, 2024 at 7:16 PM. It seems to happen to me on nights where i fall into a deep sleep and end up on one hip for hours. The nights where i wake up frequently i alternate side to side which helps alleviate it. Someone here posted to make sure the pillow is between your knees but also between your ankles. Idk.
I am currently 23 weeks pregnant with our first. He is SUPER active! Since about 16 weeks I’ve been having horrible left hip pain almost like a Charlie horse in only my left hip to where I wake up screaming in agonizing pain. It gets so bad to where I shake uncontrollably, start to lose the ability to just walk, stand, or even sit.

I also suggest sleeping with a pillow between your legs and switching sides that you sleep on. In addition to that every morning I do a couple of yoga stretches that help relieve lower back and hip pain: child's pose, cat/cow, and down dog. This helps me get through the day :)Â. c. cynthiajjp.
