When (arguably) the weakest player in your playoff rotation embodies these qualities, you're in a good place. If he could just shoot a little more consistently I’d call him the perfect roleplayer. It’s both mental and coaching. Your leaders have zero mental fortitude and sub-average basketball IQ. World beaters when they’re ahead but play with no confidence or swagger when they’re down. Mazzulla just isn’t a good X’s and O’s coach, and a low-basketball IQ team needs so much better.

The Celtics played with more zip during garbage time than they did all game. Man if Nesmith and Payton hit some of these shots earlier in the 4th would have been huge, but same could be said for the entire team really outside of Robert and jayson tonight. Swarthykins. The main motivation the C's might have to care about winning this game is to continue demoralizing the Bucks, who are still a top 3 opponent in the east. But, playing head games by benching starters might work just as well, even if the Bucks do win.
