    Something funny is that Denon has a few 4 ohm capable receivers (per their sales literature), and marantz separates don't mention anything past 6.     Currently working on putting the finishing touches on my home theater. My receiver can process 11 channels, but only power 9 (Denon). If I remember correctly, it claims around 160w per 2 channels, but obviously powering all 9 channels will be much lower per channel output.

    I recently purchased the BASX A3 and currently using it for 2-Channel music given that my Yamaha TSR-700 only has a LF/RF preouts.
