I can speak on law schools: 3.6 is below the median GPA for almost every law school in the top 100 (of course you could argue the ratings aren't meaningful). But the point is that having a 3.6 GPA is probably detrimental for law school applications. (And med school application is even more competitive).

Just make sure you get into the program. Nobody gives a shit about GPA after. Trust me. Have fun. Party hard. Study hard. Network as much as you can. As long as you have above a 3 you should be fine.
