Intel ARC Control will allow you to control all of your supported GPUs/iGPUs. If you use Intel ARC Control it is safe to Disable the Intel Graphics Command Center services from starting up just DON'T disable the Intel ARC Services. Arc Control Center is all you need. With the latest driver 5186, every display option is available in ACC.
Arc control doesn't do much. I use it to overclock a bit (+20% performance / +40 mV / max watt limit) but otherwise it does not matter and I would not miss it. I never installed after 45xx updates. Never needed it yet. I highly think Intel has to come up with a better software. Arc Control is very basic and very buggy.
It’s not very good however it’s not a high end graphics card and it’s not consuming a lot of juice anyway as a mid tier gpu. The card is aging like fine wine especially being compared to the 6000 series and the 30 series. Even the 40 and future 7000 series are starting to look worse when it comes to longer life spans.
The Arc Control updater has worked exactly once for me, and it was for. 4900 to .4952. So it can work, it just usually doesn't. Intel, if you're listening, Arc Control would be so good if you combined the Graphics Control Center and PresentMon into it, and then added functionality to Arc Control itself. Same.

If Intel arc control requests permission to start every time you boot up: "Windows>Settings > Apps > Startup and turn OFF the Intel Arc Control startup switch or you'll keep getting the popup." It won't start automatically after this, you can start it manually when needed. I use it to check drivers versions, and gpu information
Are you using the latest version of Arc Control? If you are, you mustn't. If you want to use the fan control function in Arc Control, you have to install older version of Arc Control bundled with driver 4090 or earlier. It has become unusable since driver update 4091.
The only one i have at the moment is the "Intel Graphics Commend Center". I downloaded the latest driver available on Intel’s website, but i can't seem to access the Arc Control software. I would like more control on my Arc iGPU, such as enabling reBAR (if it’s not already, the settings isn’t in the UEFI i checked) or allocating RAM for ...
It is Intel ARC Control that causes excessive loading times at startup, CPU usage and Fans because it is loading in excess of 21 Processes. That is absolutely crazy and I cannot think of any system that this would not cause an adverse affect to. Generally speaking if you do not have an Intel ARC Graphics card then the control panel is generally ...
Thanks for the feedback, r/Intel . This will be taken into consideration by Intel Graphics - I am closing this thread now. 1. MomosuWarosu. • 2 yr. ago. Generally Arc Control is.. okay. It's just okay. Being prompted for UAC and having focus changed to Arc Control every time on startup is kind of irritating but that's a known issue.
