In computing, on the X Window System, X11 color names are represented in a simple text file, which maps certain strings to RGB color values. A numeric character reference uses the format &#nnnn; or &#xhhhh; where nnnn is the code point in decimal form, and hhhh is the code point in hexadecimal form.
