All is OK except Acrobat DC, which is unusably slow. Opening any PDF causes a hang of 15-30 seconds. If I then scroll, it'll again freeze. Any action is followed by the program becoming unresponsive.

I'm on Windows 10 and the free Adobe Reader DC won't install. The True Key pack has already been installed but the reader refuses to be installed! I've tried downloading the installer many times and I always get "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC did not install successfully." I have already updated Chrome.
Sep 16, 2021. A temp fix that we have shared with our users is to open appwiz.cpl, select Adobe Reader, select "Change" and then run the repair option. This does not require Admin permissions. Please noe this is only a temp fix that will need to be repeated when the issues resurfaces after a device restart. Upvote.
I'm trying to download the installer for a 2022 version of Acrobat Reader. 2022.003.20310 would be ideal, but a version close to that would probably work. I've read other posts about getting them from Adobe's FTP site, but those old versions appear to stop at October 2020.
