I'd love to see all my SteelSeries devices in one place like I used to. But the GG is a bloatware mess. I only install it when i need to change settings on my SteelSeries devices, then I remove it from the system completely. The previous SteelSeries application was always in the tray, for years.
They have separate download links on their website for GG and steelseries engine but in the last 24 hours have updated the engine ones to also download GG so does anyone have a link to the last version before the GG update I can get?

I would recommend GG over SE3. just bloatware containing "old" engine. The old engine had a big update taking us to GG. hell, i cant even get it to open... win10 on a solid machine, runs SSe3 fine but GG wont open and doesnt come up on my Task Manager when i try to start it. 106K subscribers in the steelseries community.

Just install it. I did a few weeks ago it did nothing really and you won't get prompted in the Windows update section for it. Thank you Steelseries. However, one important question; Even if this Engine version is not updated, will it be able to do firmware updates in the future? This would imply that the API/interface for downloading firmware updates never changes.
SteelSeries ApS - Extension - 1.0.1.0 is their basic driver package.Consists of driver .inf and .dat files. My keyboard which isn’t steelseries stopped working after installing this on Windows10. Don't install if you have Windows 11. It will fuck up your whole system.
