Click Scan. You can review the results by clicking Log File or each or any of the Results tabs. To remove all items, click Clean and reboot the computer. On restarting an ADW Cleaner window opens. Select Log File, and click File, Save As to create a report of what has been removed.
In a full seven-hour scan, the Microsoft Windows MSRT detects 1 infection shortly after the beginning of the scan but at the end says No malicious software was detected. There is no way to know what infection was detected or where, and whether this is a false positive or a false negative. The MRT.LOG file says No infection found.

Report abuse. Malicious Software Removal Tool contains list of some of well-know malware and not all known malwares. So it would be sufficient if you update Windows Defender in Windows 8.1 and run a full system scan with it. Since you run scan with both of them , probably one of them detect some malware first and remove them.
