Govmint's price for a 1oz 2012 Silver Maple Leaf = $42.95. Provident's price for a 1oz 2012 Silver Maple Leaf = $33.51. Govmint's price for a 1oz 2012 Gold Maple Leaf = $1,899.00. Provident's price for a 1oz 2012 Gold Maple Leaf = $1,703.50. Seems to be a steep markup there. Peter T Davis, Jan 19, 2012.
But you'd be surprised how many legitimate, decent late Roman bronzes (LRBs) or even ancient Greek bronzes can be found there in that price range. To me, the idea of buying a coin from 300 B.C. for $8 is mind-boggling, especially when you consider the price of a 1909-S V.D.B. penny.
SilverTracker Well-Known Member. I am with B-man and Clawcoins that Provident does come out a bit cheaper than the other big online dealers. I have ordered from Apmex, Provident and JM Bullion with no issues what so ever, but like discussed do your homework to get the best bang for your buck. SilverTracker, Jan 20, 2017.

Depending on your area of interest, Spink's has good stuff - they have been around for years. I could list a few Civil War token auctions, most notably Steve Hayden's mail bid and the CWTS Auctions - both are without reproach. jester3681,May 24, 2017. #7 + Quote Reply.
Marc is one of my favorite dealers. I have bought many coins from him. He has an excellent selection, great prices, and professional service. I have to add Incitatus Coins as one of my favorites dealers as well. Gregory Johnston, Jan 8, 2020.
Mint doesn't matter. The toning does. I'd like a nice-looking coin that isn't too expensive (say below $150). Vcoins offers very few U.S. coins and the guy who has by far the best ones was the one where it disappeared. He seemed quite honest and I don't think it had anything to do with him.
mac266 said: ↑. There is an online coin dealer advertising in COINage magazine. Their url is www.coastcoin.com, and their site has a LOT of coins in various grades. To quote their website, "Our grading is based on Photograde and our interpretation of industry standards." The beginning of that claim giveth, the end of that claim taketh away.
