In 1977, Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac co-produced Walter Egan's first album, Fundamental Roll, with Stevie Nicks, also of Fleetwood Mac. [1] The hit song, "Magnet and Steel", inspired by Nicks and from his second album Not Shy, [8] was featured in the 1997 film Boogie Nights, the 1998 film Overnight Delivery, and the 1999 film Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.
Hot Water Music is an American punk rock band formed in October 1994 and based in Gainesville, Florida. [ 5 ] [ 6 ] Since their formation, the group has consisted of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard on shared lead vocals and guitars, bass guitarist Jason Black, and drummer George Rebelo. [ 5 ]

Stillwater was an American band, based in Warner Robins, Georgia, that played Southern rock and was active from 1973 to 1984. They released two albums on Capricorn Records, Stillwater (1977) (the self-titled debut contains "Mind Bender," which peaked at #46 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1978), [1] and I Reserve the Right (1978), before the label folded in 1979.

Noah Landis joined the band for keys, samples, and sound effects throughout the set. The songs "Black Eye Fixer", "Action Man Theme", and "The Seventh Hour of the Seventh Day" also featured children of the original band members on keys and percussion. Straddling the punk, noise, art and grunge scenes, Steel Pole Bath Tub was a touring staple.
"Magnet and Steel" is a hit single written and performed by Walter Egan, released in March 1978. It was the first and biggest hit on Egan's second solo LP, Not Shy . It reached number eight on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and number nine in Canada.
On November 11, 2009, Grubb announced his departure from the band after Railroad Earth's New Year's Eve run of shows in Portland, Oregon. In February 2010, Andrew Altman of the Codetalkers and Blueground Undergrass was named as his successor. [6] The band's self-titled, fifth album was released on Oct 12, 2010. [7]
