For the record I've had breeding pairs of Azures and Talbots in a 40 breeder. I'm down to a single azure due to a mass rose bubble tip spawn a few years back but once the upgraded tank completes it cycle I'll be introducing more Azures, Talbots, and Starcki for sure. The color and movement is just amazing.
Same fish, labeled talbots. I looked up photos and found a lot of variation and not much consensus. I was pretty sure they were all flames but I have been wrong more than once before. Then again QM, lfs staff and the internet have all been wrong regarding fish ID. What can be used to positively identify a Talbots damsel?
I have a Starkie, 2 Talbots and 2 Rollands in my 4 foot tank. The most important part is the rockwork. You need lots of caves. I also think its important to have height on the rockwork since they pick a cave and defend it. Some pick a lower cave and some a higher cave. Some in the front and some more the back.

Allens, Talbots, Tracy's, Azures, are all good choices. I tend to keep them in groups of 3 or 5 but understand you have a smaller area to work with. It can be done and they add a splash of color and speed.
I thought I was the only one who's fascinated by the Talbots models. I've often said that they could sell me horsehair underdrawers and make me think I'd look good in them! LOL Seriously, they're worth every dime they're paid - they look great in Talbots clothes and make us think WE'LL look great in them too.
I really like the Talbot and Springeri Damsels. Both of those are my favorite. I saw the Talbots in person at the wholesaler, and they look incredible. I do not know why more people don't talk about them. I also really like the Blue Reef Chromis, but I'm not sure how aggressive they will be to each other in only a 32 gallon.
Because I used to have a mean yellowtail damsel that was picking on him. I get rid of that damsel by taking it back to the store. I just wanted to know if adding a peaceful damsel at last like sapphires or Talbots that are more peaceful damsels would be a good idea I really like those fish but if it’s not good idea I would not buy one.

In the background also are Talbots' damsels, azure damsels (Chrysiptera hemicyanea), I believe a branching Porites (Porties cylindrica? This is not common, but available in the hobby and easy to grow apparently), and in the background I believe two montiporae (Montipora capitata and maybe a capricornis), and possibly a Favites.
