Correct. The solution is to use an email ending with .com. For example, if your email ends with a country code, this is not recognized. This makes sense, as Apple TV 3rd gen is from 2013 and country code top level domains (ccTLD) were created in 2018. And apple does not do software updates. Shame on Apple.

It asked for this FYC code. I also tried to log on with my Apple ID, but did not work. FYC (“for your consideration”) codes are sign-ins for voting members for Emmys. If you are eligible for that, then you would have received communication from televisionacademy.com. Else it is not for you. Roku tv requires FYC code.

Logging into the account is the first thing I do with the nfl/activate, but it does not automatically give me the Premium Access, so I press the restore purchases. My subscription is solid, I can use my iPhone App Premium without problem, but 4K Apple TV will not recognize the Premium Subscription.
