I used to use qBitTorrent on my linux and FDM on Windows. No complaints from both but sometimes qBitTorrent missed to catch magnet links. The best part of FDM is it's great for downloading normal large files and also doubles as a torrent client and is simple and lightweight. I'm building a new Windows PC and want to keep only one solution.

I’m glad FDM allows seeding. Because when I seed to other peers, the FDM ones always seemed to utilized more bandwidth from my connection. Not always…but whenever I’d see 8-12MiB/s upload spikes (per peer) it would usuallyyy be the FDM crowd. I personally use/like qbtorrent. If you like FDM just please do not disable/turn off seeding.
I have been using "free download manager" to download torrents for about 2 weeks and it has largely gone well, however, when i try to download now, the Torrents remain stuck on "queued" constantly. My HD is not full, my internet is ok.
