Atsushi Ohkubo. Atsushi Ohkubo (Japanese: 大久保 篤, Hepburn: Ōkubo Atsushi, born September 20, 1979), is a Japanese manga artist known for his work on the manga series Soul Eater and Fire Force, both of which have been adapted into anime television series. Ohkubo worked as an assistant under Rando Ayamine, [1] on the manga series GetBackers.
The company was founded by former Gonzo president and producer Kōji Kajita and fellow producer Taito Okiura in September 2007 upon having left Gonzo. The company's first work was as an animation subcontractor, but in 2009 David Production undertook their first full animation production as a primary contractor with Ristorante Paradiso.
The second season of the Fire Force anime television series is animated by David Production. [1] It is based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo. Tatsumi Minakawa replaced Yuki Yase as director of the series. The series aired from July 4 to December 12, 2020.
