But as u/unaltra_persona mentioned, connect app is only available on Android/iOS. You can still use the app to fiddle with the headphones when the headphones are connected to pc.

Hey, here's my suggestion : Uninstall Sony Headphones Connect. Go in the Play Store, click on your account, settings, Network Preferences, Auto-update apps and select "don't auto-update apps". Go to apk mirror and download the apk for 8.3.0 (Nov. 2021) Install the app. Do not accept "data use for marketing and product".
