Antena 1 (Romanian pronunciation: [anˈtena ˈunu]) is a Romanian free-to-air television network owned by the Antena TV Group, part of the Intact Media Group.Its programming consists of television news programs, soap opera shows, football matches, entertainment programmes, movies and television series.
Antena 1 is one of the three national radio channels produced by the Portuguese public broadcasting entity Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, the others being Antena 2 and Antena 3. Antena 1 has a generalist programming policy focusing mainly on news, current affairs and sport, as well as the discussion of contemporary social issues.
Antenna, better known as ANT1, is Cyprus's third private television station. It has already demonstrated 30 years of dynamic and credible presence in the market. The station launched in 1993, 4 years after establishing the ANT1 in Greece in 1989. Since its formation, the station has been the leader in ratings in its news bulletins and local series.
