Does anybody know if there's a way to turn on/off the Enhanced Active Noise Control? (I have a 2018 Platinum Max, if it matters.) I'd like to be able to hear the difference between when the system is "working" and when it's not. The vehicle is plenty quiet, but it doesn't seem to be noticeably quieter than my old 2007 EL Limited.
ANC stands for “Active Noise Control” active meaning the system activly changes the frequency to cancel out noise. I didn't think so. The fake engine noise is something Mercedes has been incorporating in their 4 and 6 cyl models for some time, and quite sure other manufacturers have done the same.

Active noise control. According to Hyundai the Palisade has ANC, But it only works on low frequency noise. That means it can help decrease the engine noise. Remember this type tech. only works if you have the radio on and turned up high enough to counter act the engine noise. which can help with wind and some tire noise not covered by ANC.
