Game Grumps is an American Let's Play web series hosted by Arin Hanson (2012–present) and Dan Avidan (2013–present). Created in 2012 by co-hosts Hanson and Jon Jafari, the series centers around its hosts playing video games. After Jafari left the show in 2013 to focus on his own YouTube webseries, JonTron, he was succeeded by Avidan.

In July 2012, Hanson and his colleague Jon Jafari (known for his comedy webseries JonTron) created a joint YouTube channel, called Game Grumps. In late June 2013, Dan Avidan, of the band Ninja Sex Party, replaced Jafari when he retired from Game Grumps to focus on his personal channel. [34]
In 2013, Arin Hanson, co-creator of the comedy gaming YouTube channel Game Grumps, brought Avidan on the show to replace Jon Jafari as co-host, after being introduced to Ninja Sex Party's content by fellow animator Ross O'Donovan. The channel's content includes animated music videos, video game parodies, and original series, such as Leo and Satan and Hellbenders, the latter of which was made with fellow Newgrounds animator Zach Hadel (psychicpebbles). In 2014, O'Neill began posting Let's Play video content to the Oney's Video Hole channel, later renamed OneyPlays.
