    Definitely a symptom!! this can actually be the first thing a lot of women notice. your body begins using more water almost immediately after conception so it can lead to dry mouth and excessive thirst.

    I have read about all the symptoms and haven't seen excessive thirst listed other than under Gest. Diab. which occurs much later.  Wondering if anyone has else experienced excessive thirst early in their pregnancy.  Drinking over 64oz of water before lunch and still can't get enough. Thanks!

    I even added electrolytes just to kinda curb the thirst and I still go through probably 5 things of water, if not more, in my 40oz Stanley. What’s going on!! . 4. 40soon2bmomof3. Try adding electrolytes. LMNT is a good mix, or Rayvi. Or you could start with switching out some of your regular water with coconut water.

    F. F_nozar80. U. USMCmama418. They do say that excessive thirst is a sign of gestational diabetes but before you panic, there also many other factors that can point to that diagnosis. I was also excessively thirsty when I was earlier on in the pregnancy (I'm at 11 weeks now).
