You'll need a much better reference than that, as neither the FIA nor the official F1 website refer to this race as the first Singapore GP. Both use the term "2008 FORMULA 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix". The 1st Singapore GP was in 1965, and was officially named as such. There cannot be two "first" Singapore GPs.
