I Have a Sharp Roku TV model # LC-43LB371U Manufactured April, 2015. I have had the same problem with Amazon Prime video icons being blank when I open the app. This has happened several times over the past year or so. I followed the suggestion to do a system restart on the TV and it worked.
I tried looking up what to do on youtube, nothing helpful, wasted time watching videos. I had already uninstalled the amazon prime video app, and reinstalled, nope. Then I unplugged. waited at least an hour, because I was busy. Unplugged the TV not the modem, just the TV. All the thumbnails on the amazon prime video are all showing now 🙂
1. Remove the Prime Video channel from the Roku home screen. 2. Restart your device or TV from the Settings>System>System restart (or Settings>System>Power>System restart) menu. 3. Once the device has been restarted, visit Streaming channels from the Home screen, and add the Prime Video channel back once more.

The Prime video app on Roku used to allow remove from continue watching by pressing the star key and selecting the option to remove. Star key now does nothing. Screen says 'hold select for more options'. This only gives the options of more details or add to/remove from watchlist. Anybody know how to remove from continue watching?
Only happens on Prime. Roku Ultra with quality HDMI cable. When scrolling Amazon Prime looking for a show, each time I move right or left on a show banner the system goes black momentarily. Sorry for the delay in answering. Our Amazon Prime subscription lapsed and we waited a little while before starting it back up again. As a reminder, this issue happens on the Prime Video channel only. All of our other channels work correctly. Also, this issue happens on two different Roku devices (Roku Premiere and Roku Express).
