This website allows for single lookups of routing numbers. It is intended for use by individuals who need to look up their financial institution’s routing number. Users of this service are allowed no more than two lookups per day and are limited to ten lookups per month.
The routing number is removed from the Federal Reserve Bank’s FedACH and Fedwire systems. The routing number is no longer used on checks; Note: The Federal Reserve will not handle any cash item that identifies the paying bank’s routing number as retired. The item will be returned to the bank of first deposit.
On a check, the routing number is the nine-digit number in the bottom left corner, while your account number is the number directly to the right of it. Check your bank statements. Log in to your bank’s mobile app or online platform.
The ABA Check Fraud Claim Directory is now the ABA Fraud Contact Directory. This is now an expanded resource that helps banks connect with other institutions to resolve warranty breach claims for checks as well as claims for unauthorized and/or fraudulent transfers for wires, ACH, RTP, or FedNow.
